Brief Profile of the Organisation

Dost Welfare Foundation, a not-for-profit NGO established in 1992, is providing a comprehensive range of drug abuse prevention, drug addiction treatment, drug harm reduction, HIV/AIDS prevention, human rights protection, rehabilitation and social reintegration services for drug addicts, prisoners, Afghan refugees, university graduate, youth, and general community living in Pakistan. With a staff of over 200 persons, DOST provides a continuum of care and quality services through its programmes for drug abuse prevention, detoxification, rehabilitation, vocational skills training, aftercare, HIV Prevention/care, human rights protection, legal assistance, research and networking with government departments, civil society organisations and community groups.
