| Brief Profile of the Organisation |
ICMAP, Pakistan was established in 1951 and was given statutory status in 1966 under Cost and Management Accountants Act, 1966 of legislative Assembly of Government of Pakistan. The body is entrusted with the responsibility to regulate and promote the profession of Management Accounting in Pakistan. The Institute is a founding member of International Federation of Accountants [IFAC], Confederation of Asia and Pacific Accountants [CAPA] and South Asian Federation of Accountants [SAFA]. It has 12 centres nationwide and currently there are more than 3,500 members of which above 500 are serving abroad. The students' strength is exceeding 15,000 nationwide. |
