Kashf foundation started in 1996 as an action research programme aimed at demonstration the credibility and economic competence of low- income households especially women. In the past 14 years, the Foundation has cumulatively disbursed over 1.2 million loans to women from low income households to setup business that have led to increase in incomes and enhanced their capabilities/ capacities to improve the lives of their families. Currently the Foundation has over 290,000 clients
spread across a network of 151 branches in 24 districts in Punjab and 1 district in Sindh. Kashf Foundation addresses the social and economic needs of low-income households especially women through an innovative and inclusive strategy including financial and non- financial services delivered in a financially and operationally sustainable manner. |
