Areas of Focus
1	Madadgaar is Pakistan’s first Child Help line and Protection Service for Children and Women. Madadgaar supports children and women in crises situation through guidance and referral. Madadgaar is a joint venture of LHRLA & UNICEF
2	LHRLA is also providing legal and counseling services to the women in prison. LHRLA has also designed and published series of booklets and posters to inform the public, especially prisoners, about the laws.
3	LHRLA has been working for betterment of migrant community since long and doing efforts for improvement of their health and other living and working rights
4	LHRLA has been working on the issue of trafficking of women and children since 1989 to eliminate the social evil in the society
5	Working Women Support Center (WWSC) has been providing free legal and psychological services to the workingwomen since 1997. The center is also working against work and public place harassment.

Brief Profile of the Organisation

Since LHRLA was established, it has helped in the release of more than 20,000 innocent persons from jail, mostly women and children. It has worked tirelessly to internationalise human rights issues in the region by developing a network of like-minded organisations lobbying for policy reforms in their respective countries and the region as a whole. It works both at the micro (service-oriented) and the macro (policy-oriented) level. It has successfully conducted several researches and continues to work to create public awareness/conscience on issues of Juvenile Justice and the rights of children/women.
