Brief Profile of the Organisation

The Research Society of International Law (RSIL) is a non partisan, non political international law think-tank with the objective of promoting institutional awareness of international law in Pakistan and abroad. It aims to encourage rationality in presentingpolitical positions and to provide an academic and purely objective analysis on any area of international law. RSIL has undertaken assignments towards providing institutional assistance to state, inter-governmental organisations, stakeholders, the legal fraternity and the academia of Pakistan. RSIL also holds yearly lectures, seminars, training courses, workshops, press briefings and fellowship programmes for international law capacity building in Pakistan. RSIL endeavours to continue to engage further with the stakeholders and the academia both at home and abroad in pursuit of intellectually compelling and legally challenging tasks.
