Root Work Foundation's Mission is to “contribute in the creation of strengthened civil society in Pakistan and create opportunities and spaces for the development and empowerment of marginalised and vulnerable groups of women, children and youth of the country.

Root Work Foundation (RWF) is a development NGO working in Sindh and Balochistan Provinces. It is a not-for-profit, nonsectarian and non partisan organisation registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. RWF works in partnerships with government institutions, national and international NGOs and donors, the key stakeholders and the training and research organisations working in Pakistan. RWF envisions "an empowered and discrimination free society, based on the values of Justice, fairness, peace and tolerance.” Foundation's core programmes include: education, gender equality, children and youth, capacity building, good governance, physical infrastructure, environment and disaster response. RWF's focus group is the marginalised groups of children, youth and women.RWFis governed by its Board of Directors.
