| Brief Profile of the Organisation |
Established in 1986, Aurat Publication and Information Service Foundation is a civil society organisation committed to work for women's empowerment and citizens' participation in governance for creating a socially just, democratic and humane society in Pakistan. Over the last 24 years, Aurat Foundation has come to be recognised nationally and internationally as one of the leading institutions for enhancing women's economic and political status in the country. The Foundation has also emerged as a major
support organisation for civil society organisations working for social change at the community level. |
