Three interactive seminars were held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad to introduce and discuss the new book Electoral Reform in Pakistan, edited by Prof. Mohammed Waseem in the overall perspective of the recent announcement of draft constitutional amendments by the Government of Pakistan. The book has contributions from a number of prominent political thinkers of the country and contains comprehensive recommendations for electoral reform. Distinguished intellectuals were present to discuss the recommendations. Prof. Mohammed Waseem and most of the other contributors gave brief presentations on various chapters of the book before initiating a lively discussion.

The discussants included many intellectuals, among them Dr. Faqir Hussain, Prof. Mohammad Waseem, Dr. Inayatullah, Mr. S. M. Zafar, Mr. Javed Jabbar.
