PILDAT held the launching ceremony of the Directory of the 12th National Assembly of Pakistan today. Deputy Speaker National Assembly, Mr. Sardar Mohammad Yaqub was the chief guest at the occasion. Mr. Onder Yucer, Country Representative of UNDP, Pakistan, Ms. Jackie Charlton, Senior Governance Advisor, DFID, Pakistan and Mr. Amjed Malik, representative IFES also spoke on the occasion on behalf of the organisations which provided support for the directory project.

The launching ceremony also held a roundtable discussion on the topic of Improving Public Access to Parliament in which former speakers of the National Assembly Mr. Syed Fakhar Imam and Mr. Yusuf Raza Gilani participated as speakers.
