PILDAT facilitated a study tour of the Members of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Provincial Assembly of NWFP to the British House of Commons from May 23-29, 2004. The study tour was supported by the Department for International Development (DFID), UK. The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK was commissioned by PILDAT to organise the study tour. The 12-member delegation led by Speaker NWFP Assembly, Mr. Bakht Jahan Khan, comprised 10 members of the PAC belonging to various political parties, Secretary of the PAC/Provincial Assembly of the NWFP and the Executive Director of PILDAT.
