Islamabad; December 01, PILDAT Dialogue Group on Civil-Military Relations welcomed the Government decision to investigate the issue of alleged memo through the Parliamentary Committee on National Security. However, the Group demanded that terms of reference of the investigation by the Parliamentary Committee should be made public. The timeframe of investigation and the key milestones of the probe should be shared with the public. The Group believed this move would strengthen Parliamentary oversight on executive especially on national security issues. |
