Lahore; January 24; PILDAT has welcomed the ECP notification in which it has banned all kinds of recruitments in any Ministry, Division, Department or Institution of the Federal Government or Provincial Government or Local Government in the light of forthcoming General Elections with immediate effect. PILDAT has also appreciated the ECP ban on diversion of funds already allocated to developments projects across the country.

In a statement to the media, PILDAT has expressed that such steps, if effectively implemented across the board will strengthen the confidence of voters on the Election Commission of Pakistan.
