�Free Legal Aid in Pakistan� is a position paper which analyses the Free Legal Aid system in Pakistan, which provides a detailed analysis of the Free Legal Aid framework in Pakistan along with those in India and Sri Lanka. The paper also identifies key challenges and issues in the provision of Free Legal Aid in Pakistan and provides recommendations for improvement.
This Paper has been developed as part of PILDAT�s initiative on Reforming Police, Prosecution System and Free Legal Aid Services in Pakistan. Under this initiative, PILDAT formed a six-member Committee of Expert on Rule of Law � Police, Prosecution and Free Legal Aid. The has been developed by Dr. Syed Suhail Shahzad, Member of Committee of Experts on Rule of Law (Free Legal Aid), and Dean, Faculty of Law and Administrative Sciences, Hazara University, Mansehra.
